FAIRFAX Media has created the new role of national sales director, products and audiences.
Anthony Rice has been appointed to the role and will be responsible for advertising sales across Fairfax Metro Media.
Mr Rice was previously media director at Global Red and group advertising director at Reader’s Digest, and has also worked in sales at Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ.
“His valuable experience in media companies here and overseas means he is very well-equipped to boost business across our key verticals by providing the best solutions for our clients,” said general manager of products and audiences, Melinda Petrunoff.
Mr Rice said: “The new innovative products and growing audiences within each vertical have enormous benefit for advertisers and I’ll be seeking to maximise those opportunities.”
His appointment is effective immediately.
